We are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is currently understood in physical organic chemistry. We modulate and utilize INTRINSIC reactivity, conceptualize new principles of organic reactivity and catalysis, and actively explore the vast potential of quantum mechanical tunneling in organic synthesis. We formulate new conceptual (rather than computational!) theories, rooted in experiments and bolstered by computations.
